Break through your challenges and grow to your full potential!

Children and adults with Dyslexia may experience problems in reading, spelling, speaking, listening or writing. They can show lower achievement on reading and reading related measures than would be expected given their overall intellectual intelligence. Dyslexia seems to run in families and it is now thought to have a genetic link. Being born with this genetic code makes it possible for them to develop dyslexia. Approximately 4 to up to 15% of the population may be affected. Children and adults with dyslexia learn differently. They are bright, intelligent, visual, tactile, and learn easily through pictures and hands-on multi-sensory approaches. With appropriate intervention, they can perform well in a regular classroom.

Do you, your child, or someone you know experience any of the following characteristics?

 1. Appear bright, intelligent, and articulate but unable to read, write, or spell at grade      level.
 2. Reads and rereads with little comprehension.
 3. Confused by letters, numbers, words, sequences or verbal explanations.
 4. Spells phonetically and/or inconsistently.
 5. Common Complaints: "I don't understand! I can't do it! I don't get it!"
 6. Reading or writing shows repetitions, additions, transpositions, omissions, substitutions, and      reversals in letters, numbers and/or words.
 7. Seems to "zone out" or daydream often; gets lost easily or loses track of time.
 8. Difficulty sustaining attention; seems "hyper" or "a daydreamer."
 9. Learns best through hands-on experience, demonstrations, experimentation, observation,      and visual aids.
10. Talented in art, drama, music, sports, mechanics, story-telling, sales, business, designing,      building, or engineering.

Dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, and Learning Difficulties.

Dyslexia Is... one of the most misunderstood learning styles in today’s education. Although most people associate dyslexia with letter reversals and reading difficulties, dyslexia encompasses a much larger umbrella of learning challenges.

We provide The Davis® Dyslexia Correction Programs. These successful programs are now being offered in 40 countries worldwide. The Davis® programs enable the client to gain the ability to overcome learning difficulties and correct the reading disabilities that come with dyslexia. Ronald D. Davis, author of The Gift of Dyslexia, has developed specific procedures and exercises to help break through the challenges associated with reading, writing, and attention focus. The Davis programs provide tools to overcome these challenges. These methods enable children and adults to recognize and control the mental processes that cause distorted perceptions of letters and words. Once a client can be sure that their perceptions are accurate, they can resolve the underlying cause of their learning difficulties through methods that build upon their creative and imaginative strengths through something we call, Davis® Symbol Mastery. During the program, the client starts to become aware of what is causing their confusion with symbols, letters, and words. Not only does he/she gain the skills needed to address and eliminate the triggers that are causing their challenges, they also gain the ability to overcome and correct it. Programs are custom-tailored to address each person’s unique needs and are highly effective for correcting problems with...

• dyslexia
• reading
• spelling
• comprehension
• attention focus/hyperactivity
• dyspraxia (balance)
• dysgraphia (hand writing)

Dyslexia creates challenges, but can be a wonderful gift.

Dyslexic individuals are often very talented, visual, and multi-dimensional thinkers. They are intuitive, highly creative, and excel at hands-on learning. Dyslexics think in pictures; it's sometimes hard for them to understand letters, numbers, symbols, and written words because they are nonverbal learners. Many dyslexics mishear words or the sequence of words in sentences. They are three-dimensional picture thinkers with multi-sensory images that evolve and grow as the thought process adds more information or concepts. They can learn to read, write, and study efficiently when they use methods geared to their learning style. This unique way of seeing and thinking can create challenges but can also be a wonderful gift.
